MODERN GUI

The PulzyXT uses a modern GUI with a hands-on layout. It is resizeable via the main menu, or the resize arrow in the bottom right corner.

Resizable and fully compatible to low and high 4k+ resolutions. The Size of the GUI is stored globally in the settings.cfg. The perfect size every time you open the JP-88ty Plugin.

OSCILLATORS

STEREO – Yes all oscillators are not restricted to mono. All three main oscillators running in stereo. Every one of them has it´s own pan control. Different positions in the stereo field.
All oscillators from the Pulse are also available in the PulzyXT. Use Square with PWM, Saw, Triangle on all three oscillators and the special CrossMod oscillator only available on Osc 2.
Also available is a independent Noise oscillator with colour control. allowing a wide variaty of sound for the noise.

LFOs

Low Frequency Oscillators are a great modulation source for a lot of features in the Pulzy XT. Lfo 1 has 5 waveforms and Lfo 2 is a Triangle waveform only, but other than that it has the same features like Lfo 1.

FILTER

The Low Pass Filter in the Pulse sounds great and so it does inside the PulzyXT. Turn the cutoff and resonance controls to your liking and listen to the great filter!

EQUALIZER

Effective 3-Band Equalizer to shape the sound. Comparing the sound in general to raw oscillator sound output, did never sound the same like in the Pulse. An EQ with well designed settings made the difference.

ARPEGGIATOR

Simple but effective Arpeggiator with standard modes and a range of 10 octaves, like on the Pulse hardware synthesizer.

FX

CHORUS – Simple but very effective Stereo Chorus with easy to use controls.

DELAY – The Ping Pong Stereo Delay with Tone control adds in! Short Time and long Feedback settings can sound like an Echo Reverb. Great for your sound!

ENVELOPES

Exponential Envelopes with direct Envelope Level and Track controls. Depending on the note you play envelope values are increased or decreased. Interesting sounds are coming along with this unique feature of the Pulse.

MATRIX

The JP-8080 had a lot of fixed modulation options inside. The Morphing and Velocity assignment options were endless. The JP-88ty has no morphing control, but the most important ones like Velocity, Modwheel, Pitch Bend… and free assignable Midi-CC controls as Sources

WHEELS & KEYS

Expand the GUI with a Wheels and Keys Controller. Use the mouse to press notes or move the wheel controls to emulate the input from external controllers with this Midi-CC controls.

HOW IT SOUNDS

Listen to real sounds of the PulzyXT directly. No external processing or FX was used.
